connect the m-audio-midi-out with the r3-midi-in. should work perfectly. |

I have an m-audio oxygen8 connected to my R3 and it works.
MIDI out of oxygen8 to MIDI in of R3
Set MIDI channel out of oxygen8 = 1
Set global MIDI channel R3 = 1
I have USB connected too for editing R3 and it all works together.
hope that helps |

yeah, thanks craig, that's what i forgot to mention. of course you have to have the same midi-channels set on your masterkeyboard + r3. for me it works well the way described... |
