I am using Alesis Micron with my microKorg.
Micron MIDI out -> microKorg MIDI in
With MIDI-channel 1 I think microKorg receives all messages and program changes and stuff.
I would like it not to receive nothing but key strokes, so I could kind of layer the keyboards. Which MIDI-channel should I use? Or is it even possible,.. |

You can tell the MK to ignore (filter) program changes and other controllers coming in over the MIDI channel.
1. Hold down SHIFT and press 4. Display will show "FLt".
2. Use knob 1 to enable or disable receipt of program changes. P-d to disable, P-e to enable. To layer the MK with your Micron without the Micron sending program changes to the MK, set this to P-d.
3. Knob 2 can be used to filter control changes. Knob 3, pitch bend, and Knob 4, system exclusive. I'd leave these enabled. |
