Im using a new M3-73 but with the default velocity curve (set to 4 in global mode) many sounds like e.pianos are not playable in full range dynamics. Seem like the velocity midi value cant arrives to the top level (127).
For example the preset B56 (Open Epiano) played with velocity curve set to "5" sound much higher in volume and expression when play harder... with vel.curve set to "4" this expression is not available also if you play very harder on keyboard.
Why this?
Is an error or bad developing of korg-presets ?

I noticed the same, that's why I use a curve of 5. :/

Me too... but is strange that with value 4 in velocity curve is so hard to play notes at 127 of velocity.

I noticed this in the store when I played an M388 and compared the same program played with a 61. It was nearly impossible to get the snap on the 61 that you get with the 88 unless you change the velocity setting.

At least you CAN change it!!

88 is too large for my studio Sad
Ive resolved by setting the velocity curve to "5"...
I think that Korg will be introduce more curves for the 61 & 73 version... i hope this issue can be solve in the next O.S. update!
