It would have been nice to see ways to control the effects using the virtual patches. My Novation KS4 does that. |

There are more than 22 "different" effects on the unit....with different parameter types......
How would you select an FX modifier in the Destinations page that retrofit the many different effect devices???
The list would either be enormous, or we would need to "peg" certain parameters in the fx page like we do with the 2 fx knobs....and place the pegs in the Destinations......
FX1 peg 1 amount,
FX1 peg 2 amount,
FX2 peg 1 amount,
FX2 peg 2 amount,
MFX peg 1 amount,
MFX peg 2 amount,
I believe we can currently modify the FX with the Modulation Sequencer, and if it is not latched, it almost could be used like an Mono/envelope controlling the FX Knobs...
There are 3 modulation sequencers as a source per timbre...
You could Have timbre 1 control 3 knobs in FX1/2 and
set Timbre 2 to a unused Key range and utilize its 3modSeq to mod the Master FX.... _________________ Time Can be Mastered,

You don't use the editor to do the update. The OS updater is a standalone executable.
You do need the Korg USB driver installed. _________________ I sing the body electric |

tnx it worked. (although it took me some time to find the "update mode"; it's not in the manual) |

so is this some new programs for the radias ? well i mean effects changes.
are korg going in the future to bring out a library of new sound settings to overwrite existing.
this way various age groups of usres can have sounds they wish to use of a particular type ( era ).
thanks |

There's going to be a bank of 128 new programs from 3 European programmers using the 2.0 features that is supposed to be coming this month. _________________ I sing the body electric |

Been away from the forum for a while, so I've only just become aware of the Radias OS 2.0 update - great news!
Flashed the update with no problems - new editor update works a treat on my Mac too.
I've posted a few times in the past with regard to the previous lack of sufficient V.Patch Mod destinations, so I'm very impressed to find that these forums have been so influential in the developement of the Radias firmware.
Also, has anyone noticed that the 'Write' destinations are at last fully displayed (Number+Patch name) - good move!
Big thanks to all at Korg and especially Jerrythek, who played a big part in channeling our requests to the Tech team.
Regards - Aitch |
