|

Note: I asked this in the TR forum, but since both synths are involved, I thought I'd post in both forums...
I'll try to explain the issue as briefly as possible...
I have a TR88 set as master. Its MIDI-OUT goes to the MIDI-IN on a Radias, which is set as slave. MIDI-THRU on the Radias goes out to MIDI-IN on a Fantom-XR, set as slave.
The Radias syncs to the TR, but the Fantom does not. Both the Radias and Fantom are receiving on channel 1.
Is it possible that MIDI clock isn't getting through to the Fantom? I thought MIDI-THRU let everything pass through to the next device. Maybe someone knows why? |

Clocks are not channel messages, so the receive channels of the synths do not matter and yes, the THRU should be passing the clocks.
Does the Fantom sync OK when connected directly to the TR88? _________________ I sing the body electric |
