|
|
I have an organ connected to the midi out A, when I play middle "c" on the korg piano sound, the organ is an octave below middle "C", I have a device called a Nexus Plus that transposes to the correct octave, my question is can the Korg PA1xpro transpose the organ on midi out A to the correct octave so I don't have to use the Nexis Plus? |

Hi Insight,
As far as I know MIDI Out notes cannot be transposed by the Pa1x at the time of sending via a MIDI transpose option. The only MIDI transpose options I know about apply to MIDI In on the Pa1x.
You can use the master transpose key on the PA1x to shift trhe keyboard up one octave, then for each sound you select on the Pa1x you can transpose the individual sound down one octave. This would have the effect that when you play a C4 on the Pa1x, it will transmit a C5 via MIDI while still playing C4 from the internal sound generator.
Best regards,
Rob |
