Hi,
Please give instructions on how to load O1W programs I got from the Download Section to my Triton LE. I now have it in Smart Media ready to load to LE.
Thanks,

Unzip the files to your smart media, and load them as you would load any PCG file.
If you don't know how to load a sound, then I'm afraid you will have to read the manual. This is dead basic stuff and nobody here can explain it better than it's already explained in the manual.
Regards.

Thanks for responding, Sharp. I've done this once before when I downloaded Triton programs and loaded them to my PA-80 and it's been a while.
I tried this and the LE is reading it as SMF file. So when I loaded it, I got an "illegal file" message. What am I doing wrong?

If it's saying that, then your not unzipping the files.
Assuming your using WinXP on your PC, right click on the file you downloaded, and select extract. This will unzip the files.
Regards.

But I did that. Okay, I'll try it again.
Thanks,

Hi Sharp,
It's in the Download Section - O1W - Strings.
I actually was really gonna ask you the favor of trying this yourself and see if it's doable.
Thanks,

That's the link to the download section. I need to know the link to the file.
For example, the link to the first file in the LE donwload section is.
http://www.korgforums.com/support/triton-pcg/rose.zip
Go back to where you got the file, and right click on the floppy disk graphic, and select properties.
Then tell me what the address is to the zip file. It will be displayed at this point.
Regards.

Err... hold on a second, I've just read your last post.
The download section is divided into different sections for a very good reason.
You should NOT be using the 01W section since you clearly don't have one.
The only area you should be using is the LE section, as the LE and TR are the same.
Regards.

Is that right? I thought it was like the Triton sounds I downloaded for the PA-80. I misunderstood that then.
Now I'm really regretting having traded my O1W!!!
Thanks for your help anyway,

Glad I could help... shame for you though it wasn't a happy ending.
Still... the LE section is jam packed with files for you to enjoy. So, give them a try, and if you run into any problems, you know where the forums are.
Regards.
