Hi there. I'm new at the forum and new as a Korg user as well.

I just bought a TR synth which is pretty amazing machine. I quickly got used to it and just as quickly found how frustrating some of it's limitations are. So, here's the issue.

My biggest concern and problem is that there is no empty bank for saving/organizing patches (programs and combis). I understand bigger Triton machines have this feature but no TR. My question is: what is the simplest and most nondestructive way to organize say 50 sounds which I use mostly for easy and quick access without rewriting the existing ones? I'd love to have them in bank A for example 000-127.

Since I've been using it just for a few days I didn't got too deep into the manuals but as I'm slowly geting through I'm affraid it takes some sacrifice to do what I want. I'm also using a 1GB SD card as a backup media for newly created sounds etc. So say if I make a bunch of 50 or so brand new sounds to my liking and save them on a SD card do I have to load them every time I want to use them live? I want to keep the factory sounds and maybe tweek some of them. I can even survive without 100 of them, all I want to do is to have my "best of" or "favourite" at hand all the time.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Best to all of you, Pressduck

Hey, that WAS helpful but as I anticipated it takes a lot of time, effort and skill. Which is OK if we're about to be creative. I only don't understand why it has to be so complicated; Korg could simply have made the option of re-numbering the progs & combis, so A064 could easily become D112 if I don't need it. Instead you have to copy/paste it and keep a track of where to put it and where it was taken from. Very complicated. Or, they could at least provide the TR with a simple PC app to tweak the interface on a computer (via USB) and make all the neccessary (global) setting quick and efficient. I think it's how M3 works, but that's another story & budget, I guess. Thanks, anyway!

Yes, this is better. But why wouldn't Korg come up with this and offer it for free for existing users/owners? Obviously, it can't be too hard to make an app like this especially for a team of computer geeks in a corporate like Korg.

Anyways, it doesn't say anywhere - is it compatible with TR? I'd like to hear some user reports on TR first, before I'd invest in this app. But it certainly sounds promissing...
