Yes, if we could have an idea, of who had a proper OS 1.3 upgrade without trouble, and how many had some trouble with it, that could maybe help Korg to make some furthers fixes....

And, if you had troubles, what was it?

for myself I do suspect it could be my USB stick

and you?

thanks for helping out

No problems with the install, everything went fine on mine.

Perhaps someone should set this question up as a poll, that would be a lot more efficient than having to count up responses...

I've converted it to a poll.

FWIW my Oasys is working well. I am running the official 1.3 release rather than a beta version.

No problems with my LCD / touch response, no increased frequency of freezing, no problems using ENTER+REC with combis.

I used to have a lot of problems with my Oasys when I first got one, as many will remember, so those of you having problems really have my sincerest sympathies.

Daz.

I had problems installing, maybe due to the USB-stick or a bad CD, I don't know.
Now it runs very smooth except the problem with recording the pads.
Has this to do with the update or not?
I'm waiting for Stephen's reply to my mail in order to check that out.
So I do not know what to vote yet. Question Confused Sad

Daz thanks a lot, because I do not know how to make it, but, you are their to help, like always...BTW, you still have your Oasys?

anyway it would be nice to see, really what whent sour, I mean, or not following well the explanations?

One thing I can tell, maybe Korg could FIRST put some red inks when something is different when upgrading...For example, this is the first time, the mention of REMOVING all USB gears is in that upgrade...on the others upgrade, it was like always, not so much special, thenfor the one use to upgrade, it is maybe the one who do not read well the processus...

Honest to God, I did maybe let my USB stick plugged in, who knows....

I had no problem at all.

Downloaded the update.
Made up the CD in Disk Utility. OSX 10.4.10
Turned on my Oasys
Put in the CD
Upgraded through the menu option

Brought the MOD-7 and activated it.

Worked great, very painless, fast, great way to up grade instead of waiting 3 months for discs to arrive down here in Australia.

Thanks Korg. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

You're welcome. Yes, I still have my Oasys and I am enjoying the MOD-7 a lot Smile Not so keen on the lack of Program banks (versus all the useless combi banks) or editing a synth engine as advanced as MOD-7 using Tone Adjust ... but hey Wink

I was typing a little too quickly ... caught with a lot of things at the mo.

Combis are groovy ... I just don't really need to have 1000's of them to hand ... Programs are a different matter.
