hey i am new to the forums, and quite new to synths
basically, i got a microKORG like a year ago and im fine with working with it as a synth, but now im trying to take it a step furthur, for my band.
as a drummer, i cant obviously play synth whilst playing drums..
so i was trying to set up a trigger control pad, which can play some samples made from my KORG and my drum pads...
starting to set this up, im thinking of getting this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-USB-TO-MIDI-Interface-Convertor-With-In-Out-Cables_W0QQitemZ320170695619QQihZ011QQcategoryZ123445QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
and ive got the microKORG sound editor
so if i got this cable, and a trigger pad (i was thinking of roland) and if got them hooked up, would this work, or is there anything else i need to know?
i am slightly aware of a smaple softweare thing i was told to get by another musician...
well i dont know.. but thanks,
