i've got a pretty simple problem, my microKorg wont turn on! i've tried putting in batteries, and using a different power adapter that i know works, with no success. i don't think its suffered any trauma, could it be from the cold of my basement?

maybe its a wiring problem? i'm not very technically proficient, but if its a simple fix, please reply! many thanks!

It has to be the right kind of adapter.
I'm not home, but I know it's more than just getting the voltage right.
Lots of plugs fit in, but only an exact match for your unit works.

I would take it to a store like Sam Ash/Guitar Center and use their MicorKorg plug from the display to power up yours (call first and let them know your plan and get an okay) and if that doesn't work then you know it's more than a dead wall wart.

The polarity has to be just right in the plug...as well as milliamps supply voltage, I had a problem with mine, and a new correct adapter fixed the problem.
