Hi everyone, I experiencing problems with the sequencer in OS 1.3 that weren't there before.

This is what I do:

1) Start oasys and press seq

2) Choose the track text name, press 18 enter (to select audio track 1)

3) Go to the Preferences page (0-5) and turn off the metronome and precount [measure]

4) Press the rec/write button and test the signal (visual present). Then Press start and try record, there's no visual on the level.

5) Press stop and try to play it back, there's no level.

6) Go to program IA001, Dream sweeper should be deleted, leaving a blank program.

7) If you go back to seq and try record again, it works, but when I press stop, the sequencer locks for about 5 secs 3/4 of the time. After this, the audio will play back.

8 ) I also noticed that when I copy in IA000 Oasys Piano EX2 (with IFX) after this, and try to record midi data, the level drops to the pre effects level. If I try route it through another compressor and increase the gain, the level still doesn't change.

I think this bug might have something to do with turning the metronome and/or precount off at the beginning Think.

Does this happen to anyone else, or is this specific to my machine?
I posted a similar topic at the KLF but I couldn't get it confirmed one way or the other. I'm hoping someone over here can help out.

Thanks

Hello Tollan,
I have not experienced this problem. I am sorry I can't help you.
I am wondering if maybe you don't have enough working space. Maybe if you upgrade your Hard Drive working space it might help? Shocked
Sorry I can't offer more! Crying or Very sad

Hello Guys

I´ve been testing this and I can confirm you my Oasys behaves the same way in the Sequencer mode.

We need to know more about this, because as you both say, it was not present in OS. 1.2.3.

It need to be fixed ASAP, in my opinion, ´cos ts difficult to work with the sequencer this way.

Regards.

Yep, I also got an exi program into a HD-1 location while using the sequencer. I think I had to reinstall the OS to clear it.
