So Dan:

1) How has your hairstyle changed over the years?

2) What's your pet peeve?

3) If you could come back as any type of animal what would it be?

4) How cool is Jerry, anyway?

Laughing

Sorry - couldn't resist!

Jerry

Hi all,

I know that you all will have many interesting questions about the future of the OASYS! Unfortunately, I won't be able to answer *any* of them. I'd love to, but I can't talk about unannounced plans.

Best regards,

Dan

That's mean that we would get another generation of the Oasys concept, of course, Dan can't talk to us so much about that project, but we can expect more Oasys stuff or another different synth, i like that.

Saludos desde Chile, no tengo un Oasys pero tengo su sucesor: Korg Trinity (Oasys de los 90s, por supuesto)

Froilán

I printed them out and will ask him. Of course I will not tell him that these questions came from you. ... although maybe question #4 is a little bit tricky and I have to ask very careful Laughing Laughing

Here is my 2nd question -

"Korg have delivered six Exi for the Oasys thus far, the last addition being the hotly debated MOD-7. When delivering the Factory Bank Sound sets for these instruments who makes decisions for the style and type of sounds/programs to be made available? Are any sounds/programs rejected, if so, why?"

Persnickety, puerile, pugnacious pundits.

Human.

As my nieces used to say, holding their arms out and spread as wide as possible, "Sooooooooo cool!"

1) You've worked for Korg since leaving college, so it's clear you must find it very satisfying working with the company. What three things make the job most satisfying for you ?

2) I understand you've created plug-ins for the Oasys PCI card using SynthKit and often talk in detail about synthesis, have you ever been tempted to write code ?

3) Working with music technology you need to be able to operate in both technical and artistic spheres at the same time. How much of a challenge is that ?

Daz.
