Translated via babelfish from korg.co.jp:

Update details

* Trigger pattern of the sample was added.
* Real time mixing performance of the sample was added.
* Operational pattern of the looper effect program was added
* KP3 Editor, this version up version was raised in v2.0 of the additional parameter correspondence which depends.
* The trouble where the other things are detailed was corrected.

More details here:

http://www.korg.co.jp/Product/Dance/KP3/v2.html

EDIT: I just downloaded the updater. There are only japanese docs inside. However, the editor program's user interface is in english.

Wow, what a surprise. I like how it has four different trigger options. I guess I'll wait a day or two to see if it shows up on the US site. Otherwise I'll just grab it from the UK site.

For those having updated to version 2 :

Could you explain better than this automatic translation the improvements and corrections added ?
Did anyone encountered new problems ? is V2 a reliable version ?
What about the .aiff .wav import that don't work on every KP3 ?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link ! I read the notice but you omitted the KP3 Editor in your zip file. Taken from the readMe file :
Quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notices concerning the update
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

- For KP3 System and KP3 Editor

Since parameters have been increased for this system update, KP3 Editor ver.1.x
will not function with KP3 System ver.2.0.
Please make sure that you update the KP3 Editor as well.

From the pdf in the download, it looks like you still can't trigger sample record via MIDI. Sad Sad Sad

(I haven't tried it yet though)

Hey didjeko,

The Editor is in the Zip file my friend: When you unzip the Updater file theres 3 folders: System, Manual and KP3 editor.

In the system folder youll find the actual driver and in the KP3 editor folder youll find....well the KP3 editor Smile
