As the Zero4/8 is not only a mixer, but also a multi-channel soundcard, you could potentially use it as the interface for your audio software such as Traktor, SSL or Torq.
Many people have issues that their Zero4/8 is not able to use a channel for input and output at the same time, Korg themselves have stated that the firewire connection is half-duplex, therefore it is technically not possible to have the vinyl timecode input on the same channel as the audio software output, thereby losing you two channels (or more, if you use more timecode vinyls/cd's). But it works for me!

So...:

If the Zero4 is only half-duplex, how come I can use channels 2 & 3 for input AND output? Are there different versions of the Zero4 available, one "sexy badass mo-fo version, only to be used by da H-Man and a few select others" and a "crippled half-duplex cheapo version for all the suckers" ? If so, I am honored. If not, what's the deal?

da H-Man...

Update to 1.5 and there is no problems... The only issue was with CD/Line not with Phono, my bad there...

This is all corrected via the 1.5 update... Now both work cd/line and phono..
