Wow, some of yah just need to take your
chill pill. Yeah, I know it can downright
hurt to know some of yah paid almost
8 grand for one of these babies!
No conspiracy here folks. Yep, out the door
for 54 big ones. Still have my original Motif7.
Guitar Center gave me 30 days to test drive
this puppy with full refund and waive restock
fee if I decide to return it.
Guitar Center employees work on commission
and I have always walked out the door paying
easily 10 to 15 percent off retail. Just bought
my Korg R3 that retails for 650 for 500 + tax.
I assure you they ARE NOT going to stock the
OASYS anymore. That's why I got such a good
deal. I actually made the offer on the thing to my
surprise the GM approved.
Thanks to all who gave a positive, intelligent reply
I may just hold to this baby!. Oh, I love the Troll
Patrols out there and you know who yah are cause
yah got right down in the troll trough with me! |

Thanks for posting the pictures.
Better hurry and decide since your 30-day window expires in 12 days.
$5,400 for a used OASYS 76 is a pretty good deal, similar to current used eBay sales.
The Operation Manual is pretty good, especially if you spend 20 minutes studying the Table of Contents pages in the front.
Regarding video training, while there is an OASYS owner who is creating a training DVD, I don't think Korg plans to create one.
Finally, regarding GC not selling the OASYS, it is always possible that your one specific GC store has decided to stop sales. However it is highly unlikely for all of the current GC stores to stop OASYS sales, nor is it likely that any local store employee would have any real knowledge about other GC stores. There are a number of GC stores here in the Wash D.C. area, and it has been my experience that they aren't even aware of activities in their local sister stores, let alone aware of GC nationwide. |

I would have to agree however, it seems Guitar Centers down here in Texas are having a hard time moving their existing stock. |
