So, there is something wrong with my Radias.
It slightly changes the LFO intensity by its own will...
It doesn't happen all the time, or even often - maybe 1 time every hour.
But still, it directly brings the LCD to the LFO menu, and it can ruin your patch, and I just expect perfect functionality in every aspect.
I bought it new, and the warranty hasn't expired yet, but I doub they will repair it for me, since I can't even prove its has a defect.
I haven't tried factory reset yet - and I still haven't updated it, my internet doesn't work well also
But I think it's a mechanical problem.
Anyone had the same problem? |

Sounds like the LFO intensity control has a dirty pot.
Take it in and ask them to check it. _________________ I sing the body electric |

Hi!
I also brought my radias back for repair cause the data entry wheel did not function good any more. I think that they have big quality problems with the pots they used.
Ciao, Dirk. |

I also took mine in for repair because the big knob died--they won't have it fixed until DECEMBER--yeah they say KORG is back ordered until December on encoders for the RADIAS--this means they probably weren't top quality. (I still love my RADIAS and KORG, but I am disappointed.) _________________ I'll think of a signature later... |

Still need to contact Korg to get my encoder seen to too, as it can be a touch erratic in use. Can't bear to part with it, though, lol. Need to do it while the warranty is still good to go.
Had a noisy main volume pot, too, which I cured by some pretty darn enthuisiastic twisting. (A trick I picked up when confronted with noisy pots on my mixer). It cleans the contacts from built up oxidisation. You could try doing this on your LFO knob. Just twist it, hell for leather (within reason, of course), for 30 seconds or so.
The white encoder knob is a different beast, though. _________________ [Free Moss Set For All Workstations With Moss Expansion]

The tempo pot on my R3 has troubles with fluctuations as well. I already got a replacement unit because the first one had the same problem and now the replacement unit seems to be showing the same symptoms.
I just twisted the hell out of it though as recommend, I'll see if that helps at all for a while. |

Sadly my main encoder is going too. It will only go up in value if you turn clockwise really slowly...

Hello,
For those of you having trouble, what serial number range are you in? I'm curious if this may be a problem just within a certain serial range, or something we may also have to expect.
Thanks,
