Hi folks:
We just posted a cool new demo for the OASYS using the HD-1/CX-3/AL-1 and STR-1 engines. Composed and played by long-time Korg developer/musician Ben Dowling, we hope you like this look into the use of multiple engines in a cool piece of music.

Thanks Jerry - nice piece, at least it was nice and long - when i heard the AL-1 guitar come in, in the middle, i thought great, this sounds fantastic, but it only lasted a bar or so Nevermind still good.

oops - yes, that's wrong. It's certainly Ben Dowling. And it's not a MOD-7 demo. Will be fixed ASAP.

Nice one. If Joe Zawinul stops jamming with the angels, he shall no doubt appreciate. |

That was flat out awful. How could you guys like that demo? Its really badly done and makes the Oasys sound like a toy. Haven't you ever really wanted to rip a demo before? Ok this demo was truly fantastic and my comments above were of course a joke. I've heard so many demos over the years and what amazes me is either how great they sound and them the keyboard is really weak or the demos don't do the keyboard justice. The Oasys is one of a few keyboards where the demos I hear really show off the O. _________________ And there was this one time at band camp...... |

Dang Jerry...you guys need a better server...I've been thinking for months that the Korg US site is slow as heck. I have cable modem and was still downing at only 4-5KB a sec, not to mention the site is always super slow. That's like dialup.
Now it's down to 1.1 KB a sec...It will only take me 2 hours and 19 minutes to download the rest lol.
I feel like I'm on aol again lol. It's always this way pretty much. |

Wow, absolutely fantastic demo!
I'd be very interested if that demo was completely done inside the OASYS and if therefor it would perhaps be possible to get this as a real SNG file to replay it at home, watching the OASYS do all the incredible things going on there and also to learn a bit more what has been done to achieve such an amazing result. Never mind about the post processing that might have been done... |
