hello all,
upon visiting bryan ressler's page (http://www.pallium.com/bryan/dw8000.php) i was inspired to try to get the encoders on my microkontrol to take care of some parameters... although i consider myself a fairly intelligent individual, i must admit, i am a midi newb and this is confusing the heck outta me.. in theory it should work right? or am i bound to the one lonely fader on the 8000? any suggestions or advice would be awesome folks.
thanks

you sure you mean the microkontrol? thats just a pad surface isnt it?
Anyways, i have a kontrol49 kicking around my studio somewhere and i know from using it that it does not do SYSEX commands which are what is needed by the DW8000/EX8000. _________________ http://www.delicamusic.com

it has pads but also 8 encoders and faders.... after some review of the manual, it seems like the pads are a lot more accessible the the knobs.... so is there any controllers out there (besides the kenton control freak) that could do what im asking?
maybe the knobby?
