|
|
Hi,
Well, I'm kinda new to digital music.
I have a Triton Extreme and want to make a continuous didgeridoo tone.
I have a CD of didgeridoo samples but I can't get them to sound continuous when looped without the join being noticable.
I need the continous drone to be smooth.
So, any tips?
Cheers!
Matt. |

Hello.
Sampling is an art and not something that you can read in a manual. So it will take you a lot of time to understand how to deal with different samples, and what you need to look for in a wave file to know where it will loop best.
A Tip:....For something like a Didgeridoo, you will have to use a crossfade loop. As for what point you should start at, I would have to see the wave file to know.
If you email me 1 file that is giving you problems, I will loop it for you. That should allow you to see visually why I would have chosen that point, and you should also then look at the values and try recreate the crossfade yourself that I would have applied to the sample.
Don't just take the sample and use it. Try recreate what I would have done.
Regards.
