Have you tried it in Combi Mode?

Arps require MIDI Clock to be running. What is your MIDI Clock setting? Press Global > Menu > F2 (MIDI) > F8 (Open).

The MIDI Clock field here can have one of two settings: Internal or External. Internal is mainly for use outside a software sequencer and this is the one you want. Also, make sure there's a check mark in the Local Control On box.

Once you have these settings the way you want them, press F8 (Utility) and choose the Write Global Setting command so that you don't have to reconfigure this every time you turn the unit on.

Kind regards.
