I've always had songs i've "made up" in my head and I have no way of putting it on "paper". I've tried to research digital composition but i've found the hardware and software barrier very large. can any of you point me in the right direction?
my major influence was robert miles. I'm very much into the dream trance style. melodic piano, light bass, etc.
what software and hardware do i need to get started? I have a computer and a 1212m. so many keyboards >_> i don't think I need a arranger... should I just start with a keyboard and a software package? if so, which keyboard? why are there so many? is there a table that lists their differences?
sorry, everyone always starts out newb, so bear with me. thanks! |

Why not try a program like One Ban band.
http://www.1manband.nl/omb.htm
Basically it allows you to use your Triton into an arranger keyboard. That way you can use the sequencer to record all the notes generated and then play live.
Just a thought.
Regards.
