Hi All,
Just got my first apple, a 2.8GHz iMac, with 1TB drive and 4GB RAM.
Anyhow, I have a Triton Extreme keyboard and would like to know how to connect it to my iMac to use GarageBand and possibly Logic Express.
I write alot of my own music, but want to start editing home videos and put some of my own music into the videos.
Can anyone help me out? I've never used a Mac before so I'm not sure how to setup my keyboard.
Thanks so much! |

You need a soundcard (preferable Firewire), then make the connections between the keyboard and the card (Midi/Audio)...if it's ok then Garageband or whatever app will recognize it, in Mac it's just "plug and play".You can, also, read the manuals of the apps. _________________ ESX1,EMX1,KP3. |

Well... manuals and such don't help, as they don't tell me how to properly connect my Korg TE.
So anyways, I finally have it setup, but when I hear it through my iMac, it is way off pitch and very delayed (by about 3-5 seconds after hitting the keys).
I can tell this by listening to the keyboard with my headphones plugged into it. |
