Hi everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone can recommend a good memory card for the korg triton extreme to store song midi files and samples etc

I have seen this card called SanDisk 2GB Ultra II Compact Flash Card (SDCFH-2048-902) And just wondered if this would be suitable for my korg triton extreme?

Many thanks,
James.

I use that same card... it's perfect for the extreme... and you can store SOOOO much on it.

I'd recommend putting a piece of electrical tape over the card slot tho... it's a $60.00 card... i work in a school and do all my accompaniments for our choir on my extreme, a 1st grader went over to my keyboard and ejected my compact flash card... i lost all my sequence and sample data 1 week before my concert... thank goodness i had all the sequences backed up, but i lost the sample data... it was not fun trying to recreate it all

if you ever have any doubt, check out Korg's website, they have a whole list of compatible media

Hi Gargamel314,

Thanks so much for the information. In England where i am i can buy that card for about 17 pounds and so i think i will order one today.

And i will also check out Korgs website to see a list of compatible media for the Korg Triton Extreme too.

Wishing you a very merry xmas and a fantastic 2008!

James.

Hi Nor251,

Are you still using this 4gb card and how have you found it? Have you had any problems with it? And does the korg triton extreme recognise the capacity of the card?

Many thanks
James.

I recieved my "SanDisk SDCFX3-4096-901 4 GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card" from Amazon.com and I get it to work right and safely with my Triton Extreme. It seems to work anyway...

http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDCFX3-4096-901-Extreme-CompactFlash-Package/dp/B0008D76L0/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1196620993&sr=8-2

YES!!! it's working fine and it just read and store so quick! It is very stable till now, no problem till now...
