Hi, I would like to do this but I know nothing about it. Assistance with the following questions would be greatly appreciated --

Is this possible?

Where is a site where I can download them?

How do I get them off the site onto the Korg? I've heard of a SysEx file but I don't really understand it. Do I need some special device to go from "sound file on my computer" to "sound safely stored in Korg?"

Lastly I know I can edit and save things, but my friend said I could just download, so I'm interested in pursuing that first if possible.

Check out the MS2K Patch Buddy and Syxplorer here :

http://daz.korgforums.com

The notes included with those apps will tell you how to send patches to the microKorg. Those apps were originally written for the MS2000 but will work with the microKorg too.
