Hi. I am trying to control lfo2 with the mod wheel on the microkorg, using the patch suggested in the manual, but no change in output with the wheel. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks. |

Hi Jerry,
Could be a number of things. Try going back to basics:-
Turn the Mod Int on all 4 Patches to 0.
Route LFO2 to something easily heard such as pitch, e.g. Patch 1 Source=LF02, Dest=Pitch, Mod Int=63
Press a key and confirm LFO2 is affecting the pitch; tweak LF02 freq. if necessary.
If nothings happens, then you need to sort out the controls of LFO2 before going further.
If all ok, route Mod Wheel to LFO2, e.g. Patch 2 Source=Mod, Dest=LF02, Mod Int=63
The mod wheel should now control the speed of the pitch change.
Hope this helps.
Phil
P.S. Have a look at my block diagrams of the MK; they might help to visualise the way everything is linked together. See topic http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=31066 |

Hi again, just another thought: it might be due to LFO2 Tempo Sync being on. If this is set, then LFO2 Freq cannot be a patch destination (you can see this on the block diagrams).
Cheers, Phil. |
