What happens if you run the Radias through a real tube amp ?
Well, i just did a little test with different patches ran through an art TCS.
Here's the result. The file is large due to the fact that i tried to keep it at the highest possible quality so you can hear the differences (or lack of).
I tried not to saturate the compressor, i used mild settings (no more than 3:1) and the tube saturation set was on.

In my opinion it doesn't sound too different, but it certainly smooths the lower frequency range. |

I found the same when using my ART pre/comp but a much more noticable difference via PA when going though my Speakeasy Classic Stereo Tub Pre rack, it has essentially a Fender Twin front and Leslie rear. I noticed a small improvement via headphones but through the PA it was very noticeable.

Depends how you abuse it - I run mine through an SPL charisma alot on anything from very subtle settings to all out full drive. _________________
