Hi. Apologies if I've missed this already on another post (i have searched), but after a few years off i want to resurrect my korg and use it with Reason on a new 2nd hand MAC. I've got a ESI midimate midi in/out > USB cable (which shows on the MAC's usb profiler properties) so I know the cable is recognised.. i cant seem to get ANY midi messages out from the Korg to the mac.. ive tried midi monitor, Reason and the midi thingy in the utilies folder and nothing registers.
There is a battery low warning but i wouldnt of thought this would affect midi out messages...
The manual has long gone and i remember something about the local control on the korg having to be set.. some posts say on and some say off tho.. ? can anyone confirm which is it please. also are there any other settings i need to check..!
i will send a paypal donation for a beer if anyone helps me get this working as its doing my nut in !
