|
|
Hi all...I am pretty tempted by this little thing, and I'd like to get one, but the lack of midi is a little turn-off. A workaround for this lack of midi channels is to use the audio stereo channels in a way that allows further tweaking.
So, can I pan certain layers on the Kaossilator? Say I want to pan the drum loop layer to the left channel, then take this signal and run it through a multi-fx unit or an extrnal filter. This would add tons of possibilities and make it so much more fun. The question is, would I be able to do it? |

In a word, no!
Perhaps when you are moving your finger around the pad, you might find a point where the drums were on the left. Then you could loop that phrase and 'fix' it. Then whilst playing other patches you might find another instrument sounding where you want it, and loop that.
Otherwise, there is no control for pan. |
