try the GM bank sounds
in particular the g(d) bank for the general midi drumkits
or remap your drums to suit the korg patches (what i do)
what i mean by this is....
1. open up drum track in the piano roll/note editor in your sequencer of choice
2. highlight all the notes that are supposed to trigger a snare sound
move all those notes up or down to a key that actually triggers a snare sound on your korg.
3. do the same for all the other drum sounds. (kick, hihat...etc..)
there may be an easier way, but i dont know it.
i think in cubase you maybe able to make your own custom drum mapping.
but anytime i select drum editor view on a track, it starts playing sound A000 (which isn't a drum patch!)...
never figured out why, so i just use the normal note view. _________________ Harpy.com.au |
