I am confused about your post.

Is your computer an Intel Mac? If so, you have to use the version of KLC that uses a Syncrosoft dongle.

my problem is that logic wont validate any of the plugins form the lagecy collection. and when i go to pref/audio unit manger and manually check the box a window pops up and it says,

:updating properties of AU LegacyCell by KORG...FAILED!

yes its MacPro xeon "intel" and is this really because of the hardware key?
