Hello Friend!!!,

What a great journey you contemplate here....My fear would be...how in the world do you complete it??

The Intro...Fantastic! and it builds very well...very atmospheric, (as is so often said of things with wind...)...

If you can,...or would forgive me...You have just written what I have tried to do for some time...: For me, the "Verge Of Wandering"music. (From "..Runes.."..by Stephen Donaldson..)..It was to have been my entry for a monthly song in the future, but...never mind!!

It is not going to get much comment on basics from me...It simply wants finishing...if such a thing is possible...Then you can use it for the next "Great Books" entry, should they need it!!!. Very Happy If they heard it they would beat a path to your door....

Guess I somehow missed Jon's comments??

My Regards! ellll Rolling Eyes

Sorry if I confused anyone. This song was originally posted in another thread where I made the comment, "The only thing missing from this song was my screen going black and saying Coming July 2008".

I was being a little silly, but this does sound like a fantastic theatrical trailer to some cool epic movie. (not that I am calling it "soundtrack-ish", it stands perfectly well on it's own)

Jon

A little OT ... but I am also a massive SD fan. Have read the first 2 trilogies at least 3 times and I am loving the new series.

I am late for everything I MUST do, here at home so cant even listen tonite...but want to encourage you on the Kevins Watch website and forums...I am not very active at present, but keep up...Take a look sometime...

The Runes has been very important to me, as it was what some disliked....long and little going on...except fantastic writing mixed in with some that is at times, bad....THAT is SRD..but when he is right in his work...none has surpassed or perhaps even equalled!!,..even Tolkien, who wrote a much better over-all set of fantasy...I believe Runes has spots in it that make it the best thing of its kind!!!

Fatal Revenant is perhaps even better...and has real mystery as well...but has a long...treaking middle section some disliked...I say no more...we are all trying not to give out spoilers...

However...I rec. them both!! Even more so than Tolkien's great works...

Regards, ellll Rolling Eyes John

Weren't you the guy who wrote THE TOTAL LACK OF INSPIRATION!!!. If that not bad enough you submit your piece 3 days before me with this powerful music.

This was a cool piece. I left with the music and I didn't want to come back. Kool stuff! Sorry for the late reply. I was working on a piece that is still not complete.
