so I've just orered from apple store a brand new macbook pro 15 inc (base model with 2.4 GHz CPU) and soon on a good italian store I'll buy 2 modules of RAM (to upgrade at 4 GB)...
I still enjoy my powerbook 12 inch with ppc 1.33 CPU so I didn't sold it, now I'll have to devide the work between the two laptop... macbook pro for music purpouse and 12 for office kinda stuff. But I'm sure that the macbook pro will be soon filled with many other software so who can tell?

if you aren't hurry you can wait this summer that whould have a good news with the new intel platform... Don't know when apple will decide to upgrade though... read some rumours. Anyway a PC is something someone should Need so if you need it you won't regret the penryn processor (I just love him!)
