My suppliers have just emailed me to tell me we're now looking at seeing the first units for the end of July.
I don't know what's happened to the May date now. Anyone else heard anything if you're waiting. _________________ Korg MonoPoly, APC 20, Ableton Live, NI Massive, Bass Station rack. |

Man I hope that's not true. I wonder what the hold up is. Korg already has the case, save the color, and they probably have well over half the code they need coming in from the electribe 2. And looking at the manual addition, it doesn't even seem to be that many fancy features on the sampler end of things. I hope I'm wrong and they are making it robust and awesome. |

Well if you look on here, there are other shops saying Mid June and there's even a post where Australia is getting theirs now, which fits with the Mid May dates that American suppliers like, Sweetwater, were told by Korg.
Late July would really suck for me and my band...we have a gig late July, where we literally planed on the ES2 being in hand by at least June. _________________ Korg PX5d

I'm sure Korg is not delaying release because it isn't finished.

I think they're just trying to whip up a storm of high expectations, hoping to damage sales of octatrak with all these potential buyers just hanging on for es2! _________________ Loving My First Electribe!!!

Is it normal for the UK to get Korg products after the US? What was the difference in time for the electribe?
All of the US suppliers I can find are listing 5/15 on their sites and saying "by the end of May" when asked. |

Amazon in Japan has it shipping may 23.
Edit; but with a warning that it might be delayed.
Still, this a new development. |

Thomann has the date set the first week of July. I wonder if the highly anticipated swappable firmware will be out then too. Even more curious to what Korg decided to fix or add and what not. They bumped the RRP by 50 euro in the whole of Europe for both devices, they must get really good! |
