|
|
Hello! Just bought microKORG (very happy, just what I needed) and encountered such problem:
Arpeg.A knob 1 (Tempo) has step of 2 BPM no matter how slow I turn the knob. So if I'm on, say 119 (odd number) and want to make 120 (even number), I need to turn it fast and heavily to occasionaly appear at 136 (even) and gradually descend to 120 (even too). It takes time and restricts use of arpeggiator.
So is such problem takes ALL microKORGs or it is bug of my unit? In either way can it be fixed (to make step 1)? What you'd suggest? |

To put it simple, please answer a question:
Does your arpegiator tempo dial works mainly with 2 BPM step or not? |

Yes the movement is coarse and it's tricky to set an exact value with the knob. However you can make fine adjustments to all parameters by pressing the Shift button and either Octave Up or Octave Down. Press Shift again to exit this mode.

Glad it helped. There's a few more on page 64 in the manual, or you can get a complete summary of Shift key combinations on the 'Main' sheet in the microKORG SyDs.
You can download it from my web site or from the main korgforum page: http://www.korgforums.com
