Hi Guys,
sorry I'm late... didn't really have time to do a song this month so I just post a rough idea for a song. I like the groove but I'm trying to figure an improvisation that would go along. I have been working on this with my piano teacher; the work is far from complete but since the deadline has already passed, I post what I've got:

Now I will get on with reviewing all those May songs of yours
cheers

this has a nice jazz fuzion vibe along with the electronica synth, i could actually hear some wacky vocals on this, especially since it's not too thick to overpower a vocal track, you could try something on that order, might be very intersting, or some vocalized samples could be fun. at least you got something up, i do think that having these monthly deadlines at the very least keep us from drifting off completely, i know it pushes me to keep some project going on from week to week. curious to hear where you take this piece. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Hey Sewa, I must admit I was curious to listen to your tunes, because you always post very interesting pieces, I love your style, and would like to be able like you to write electronic tunes with such sounds!
This one didn't failed my expectations, it's on its way to go!
I like the ideas and sounds you putted!
...and don't worry about it's just an idea with some improvvisationts, the goal of this OSAM is to force us to respect a deadline having some stuff putted togheter.
Of course, I would love to be like Georginar or JonSolo, they always produce amazing thing...green of envy!!! _________________ Diego http://www.myspace.com/diegoinmusic

This indeed has a great start to it. I will give it a few more listens, but I think you just need some development time on this one. The chord progression and instrument progression is great and is definitely a bed for some nice solos and other ideas.
Looking forward to your next build of this one.

Cool Bass sound, and the rhythm is tight too....
Love the lite rock feel with the organ...The vox sound is also good....I would have liked to see some variation in the rhythm...and ..it is too short...so we will all await that development section!!! but it really has the sound for sure!!!
Thanks for this one!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Its a difficult musical exercise. The idea behind was simple though: find a bass line and build something interesting upon it. I have been working quite a bit on this groove trying to figure a melody that would fit. My music teacher has been very helpful but unfortunately he can't do the necessary practice for me . I would like to be able to improvise in real time without relying so much on the sequencer.
So I get back to work and promise to keep the deadline this time .

Nice clean sound, and what a promising start too.
I can imagine this track developing in so many different directions (as it has started to).
That bass line is infectious! _________________ Chordial |

Catchy groove !!
Even though it isn't done - its fun as it is. Could be a small interlude.
Yes - your tunes are always fun and interesting. I am dying to know what you add to this - the possibilities are almost infinite - so it will be very interesting to see what sounds you choose and how you use them !

Nice tight groove that makes us want to play. There is a lot you can do with this. I hope you do a part B or (response part) with it. This piece is taking us somewhere with enthusiasm. It is ripe with possibilities of wherever you want to go.
How is married life? A new wife (even the most understanding ones) makes finding time to write music a hard. You should get double awards for writing this.
Thanks, Sergiusz! _________________ “I’m into scales right now.”

lol, this is so true...marriage as such did not change that much as we had already lived together for some time. Still, composing and practicing isn't easy. As it is not (as you know) something that can be done 'in between'. Fortunately, Joanna wakes up rather late so I have couple of hours in the morning for myself |
