Hey guys,

I'm still there...
I should call it "Lacking of the month", or "Improvisation of the month"...
I feel so sad I can't be more here on IA, I love that forum, sharing and creating music with all of you, but it is a crazy month: problems at work, problems with the girlfriend, lots of exhams at the conservatory, lots of concerts and extra things to do...Me and my brain really need some holidays!

BTW, my OSAM entry is a small but very important improvisation for me; it has been done during a very sad night for me, so I started playing and recorded MIDI and audio, as I know that sometimes, when I disconnet brain and heart, my fingers know by themsleves where they have to go.
So, here you are "Finger Thoughts".

From this end it sounded like that might be a soothing piece for your pain. It certainly was relaxing and enjoyable on this end. Good progressions. Sometimes you have to break away and let your fingers do the talking.

As long as you are still making music, that is what matters here!

Again, it was very enjoyable.

Thanks a lot Jon, I love the fact this very small piece of improvised music can tell something to the listener.

As I say every month, I would love to develop these short tunes, I've in my mind a longer piece with the ideas I putted into this impro; I was thinking about piano-solo or harp, but starting from a structured stuff...
We'll see if summer will bring some peace to my brain Wink

Thanks a lot for taking the time to listen

Nice piece... It feels real, reflective and optimistic. You have great ease with music brother.
I like the short piece a lot. You can always do the longer piece, when the time is right but you have truly captured the spirit here in this excerpt.

Thanks Diego!

Peaceful, and melodic. This tells a story without words.

You have a great touch Diego.

Very enjoyable.

I found it relaxing and not sad at all - more hopeful.

This isn't a small OSAM tune dude - its a big expression Smile

Thank you for sharing !!

Hi Diego

This is really lovely - it tells us more about you. I love the way it takes unexpected directions and turns, just as our thoughts do.

Thanks for sharing with us,

Dee

I hear excellent classical thought in this...

A good understanding of piano characteristics, and phrasing throughout ...several great dissonances as well....

I hear a classical piece doing a great little "love" (??) song or interest song of the past...,... or friends and experiences...maybe a poetic discription...

Sad doesn't always come out to sound quite that way to others...it is very subjective...As long as YOU know what it says...it makes it successful, for others will hear you in your music....and it will still convey the feelings you are having, perhaps far more....than your conscious thoughts can tell for your writing comes from your total person, not just a mood or event...

Hope thats not saying too much.....(??)

Really great, and sound is great as well!!! (I think....)

Thanks a lot,

your words really encourage me to keep on writing my own stuff, putting my emotions inside music.
When improvising this song I just let my fingers go where they knew they had to go...what an incredible night it was!!! Very Happy

Thanks again,
regards
