Hi,

Configuring a fairly complex live rig using a Triton Classic, Muse Receptor w/ Komplete 4, & a Roland A80 controller. Things have gone well until a glitch popped up recently.

I'm using Combi's on the Triton. Some of them have splits that trigger internal sounds on one zone & external sounds on the other. I'm using the A80 (an older 88 key controller) to send program changes to all the other components in the rig. That way one button sets up each new song.

The problem started after I turned local control off in the Triton global section & then later turned it back on. Since then, all the zones that trigger internal sounds will not produce any sound until I open the global section & change the local control setting. It doesn't matter if I turn it on or off I just have to change it. This only occurs when the program changes are coming from the A80. If I change combis on the Triton itself eveything works normally.

I don't really have any idea how to trouble shoot this. Has anyone ever run across a similar problem who might be able to point me in the right direction?

thanks,

Mike

don't know for sure, but i'm thinking muse receptor might be changing your local control to off if something is connected to triton midi in. when i used sonar in a similar configuration, it automatically turned local off, then echoed the midi signal back to the triton. the question is, do u want it off? either way, muse receptor might be where it needs to be configured. i'm not familiar with that software, is it a DAW?, a midi device?
