Keep me posted everyone in case I've missed you. By the way this signifies a posting and not necessarily a finished polished piece. So if I've seen you post something I'll check off your name. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

OMG, JonSolo is not on the checklist?!
Eheh, I'm going to be on time, I decided to post a song I did a few weeks ago, for a collegue here, a funny piece...Unfortunatly I won't be on time to finish my Joshua arrangment, so I'll post it the next month.

Jonsolo, you've ruined it for yourself, you can't put up all these polished pieces well before month end and then all of a sudden throw something up the last minute just because it's beach weather and the height of summer, flimsy excuse there. Actually, I'm ready to post my August song, but Sept has been a real bear being that it's my first m3 song. It's coming along quite well at this point, i just need time away from the pool to work on my lyrics _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Ha! Yea...I live 5 minutes from the beach. Do you know how many times I have visited it this year? Yea. You guessed it. Dead on. Zero.
Sadly, I have several songs in the works myself...but words are very thin right now, mostly because I have been working with other projects and hear WAY too much until I am robbed of originality.
But I got a little something (I hope) for you by tomorrow.

You're an infinite source of creativity...
I would love to have your skills, Jon!
But...please...promise us you'll take a rest to the seaside for all KF community!
I live about 15km far from the lake of Como, 20minutes with car and I'm in front of one of the most beautiful scapes on earth; how could you resist to stop all and go to the beach?!

Well, I have Hollywood Beach here at Lake Michigan and a private pool for my condo building and while I have been enjoying myself, it's like 4 hrs at the pool, a nap, then 4 hours at the m3. I love it when I don't have any plans other than that. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

I just wanted to apologise for not getting anything up for July and for not listening to very many of everyone's songs.
It's not summer here, but life has just been too busy for me.
Will try to listen to all the latest songs soon - it will surely inspire me to get going again!

No need to apologize, Dee, but rather than listening, for me I'd rather hear something of yours, then you could take a bit of time to hear our pieces. I'm having trouble myself with time so I understand. It's tough, but the OSAM is just enough pressure to keep us from falling by the wayside and neglecting our music. I know there are times when I don't practice at all for like months. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Just to add to that...the OSAM really is a form a peer pressure.
Seriously, it has kept me on track to finish my current CD (not finished yet, but close) and focused on my projects which get washed way out when I do so much work for other people and their projects.
And then there is life. We love it but many times we merely are coping.
Hang in there, and I would like to hear some new Dee too!

Hi Jon and George
Feels like ages since I talked to anybody over here, so it's good to hear from you.
I'm lost somewhere in the middle of a Pro Tools tutorial about recording audio (still very basic stuff). But strangely am also feeling quite inspired to write new songs, so keep going back to the good old familiar TC to hastily record the ideas and tunes as they come to me.
I'm resisting the temptation to spend my time arranging and recording on the TC and sticking with trying to learn more about basic editing functions in PT.
Watch this space for some questions from me soon. And hopefully some music too!
Regards from

It's so important for me to stay in touch here, even when I'm not actually posting a new song or listening. But just to talk and support I find very inspirational and crucial to keep my focus. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose
