well, don't get too excited, it's a hot mess of entrails, i'm at the point where the music and lyrics are becoming uninteresting and dull and going thru my head so I can't stand it, but this weekend is our pool party with family both days and that'll give me a break, so i can finish off next week and then post my song, i don't even know what style it is, it's like all over the place

"Hot Mess of Entrails"

Sounds like a great name for a funk album! Laughing

A heavy Metal solo would require an Iron Harp (or it would just be a....Metal solo).

Sorry to hear about the troubles George.
We've been away on holiday, so I really need to start putting something together for August.

Sorry - this is obviously a country tune .... 'cause if you play it backwards, all the entrails return to their former owner Smile

Almost through Aug.....I post a re-examined Organ tune from my youth?????? Whoa ...!

Indeed...I have several going, as Jon spoke of himself, early in this thread..., inc. the traditional "spooky" tune for Halloween.....

They are nowhere ....., for now....so I will just put something up...and ask the others to "put up" as well ....With ME...and hope Sept or Oct see a change....

Maybe my lot will change soon.... Shocked

Regards!!!! Johnny...John...(ellll) Rolling Eyes

I'm having difficulties as well. Its nothing personal, its just that I can't finish the piece I have been working on. I'm staying at it though, which is probably what OSAM is all about.

In a way its uplifting to see other people on the wrong side of the curve as well, although I understand that troubles such as those facing you George go far beyond music making. I'm glad that you are not directly affected by the circumstances though.

I guess many are having difficulties as its kinda quiet around here Sad Not only are people not posting their tunes, they are not listening to the tunes that some have posted - this is discouraging Sad

Well, I will try to do some listening. Honest...

I confess the removal of contact recently put me in a bit of a tailspin....as I was headed that way anyway; it got well pushed...

I don't quite know how to approach the future right now...but will post up whatever it is...

My Regards, Always...

OK, I spent most of today working on loops that as of now sound so utterly uninspired I'm running out of ideas. I guess I may need to settle in a listen to some tunes, hm....

It was a long "cold" summer. Quite hot actually. But clearly everyone has had things come up. It didn't help that this site went down briefly, especially on a deadline for OSAM.

I have a few tracks that I started on to finish my CD which has breathed new life into me for my personal project. I was getting burned out on other people's music. Glad to be KINDA back in the drivers seat.

Take a break for a month if you need it. We all need a mulligan every now and then.

Jon
