|
|
I bought a Casio PX-110 Keyboard and needed a sustain pedal... I picked up an M-Audio SP-2 pedal... I can't seem to get it to work... I have tried plugging it into the damper jack and the sostenuto jack and still nothing.. I tried this with the keyboard off and on... The pedal works fine on my Korg P61... Support at Casio said I "have" to have their SP-30 pedal but this really doesn't make sense to me... Does anyone have a Casio PX-110 or know about them? Casio doesn't have a forum so I kinda' had to dump my woes in here... A different forum suggested that the sustain function might be turned off on the Casio but after hours of RTFM (reading the fu@*ing manual) I can't find anything about disabling the sustain feature...
Thanks anyone,

It's hard to know really, but it could be down to the wiring the CASIO requires. Maybe it's a Stereo Jack wired in an unusual way so that you use only CASIO pedals.
I know that my reply is not much help to you, so sorry. I simply don't know the answer and I don't think you will find much help here either on this one.
Regards.

Thanks Sharp... I posted this on a couple other forums and your suggestion seems to be what a couple others are keying in on... I ordered the Casio pedal and it should be here by mid week... we'll see what happens... Thanks again....
