|
|
I have had my Triton now for probably 8 years and all in about 2 days it went from 2 or 3 keys not working to all of them...None of the buttons work either...The only thing that does work that I can tell is THE SCREEN, and THE WHEEL beside the screen. It turns on and gets all the way booted up...I can use the screen fine for whatever its on I believe its on the Combinations mode, but cant change to program, midi, global, all of them...Like I say the screen does work fine and the wheel beside it also works fine..But everything else doesnt...I sent it to a repair place that KORG had referred me to, but they said to contact KORG to have somekind of boards replaced.. ANYWAYS I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows the cost it would be to have it sent back to the factory and fixed correctly..Any HELP would be greatly appreciated...
THANKS ALOT EVERYONE,
JASON LOWERY |

If everything else on your Triton works, then it's quite possible that your board is fine...
From what you describe it sounds to me like the tone generator is switched off...to verify this go to [global mode] and see if "local control" box is checked or un-check...can't remember from the top of my head which setting activates or deactivate the tone generator...anyway,...if that box is check then un-check it (vice-versa) by doing so should un-mute the keys.
***Hope that helps, let me know if it worked out. |
