yes... I couldn't resist, I've found a good deal for a DSI Evolver desktop... and I bought it second handed. The courrier arrived today but I'm still at work and can't wait to test it and play with it...
what to say? I think this complete my studio and I don't need anything else in the future... but we all know it's a terrible lie isn't it?
Regards, Lorenzo

When I first bought my Evolver (a few years ago) there manual entries for OSC3 and OSC4 read :

"Waveshapes 96 – 128 are user programmable in Evolver via MIDI, assuming someone builds an
editor of some sort some day."

So I wrote this application to upload 128 sample WAV files from the computer Smile Very useful and it also gave me the opportunity to exchange emails with Dave Smith, inventor of MIDI, quite an honour ! Cool

It's nice to see my name mentioned on his site too : http://davesmithinstruments.com/support/evolver_downloads.php

Smile

I haven't used my Evolver for a while, I must power it up and have a play tonight.

My manual still reports that few lines eheheh! and what an honour to know someone who talk with Dave Smith in person! Very Happy
Regards, Lorenzo
p.s. I play a few hours with it without read the manual and it's quite easy to change and find parameters except for the fact you have to mind all the abbreviations for parameters... a big touch screen... well it has been saied for every synth and workstation of the world I think.
Regards, Lorenzo

Lorenzo is a terrible GASer, he costantly lies about needings in musical instruments Twisted Evil
BTW, I'm very happy for him, with his new Evolver, he'll find great ways to enjoy this new toy in his recordings!
