|

Hi I have been using the korg d888 for a while and have enjoyed it. Now I am doing some new things with it and my computer. I imported the tracks from the korg into "mixcraft" and edited the tracks on my computer. Now I want to get these tracks back onto my d-888 in order to record a drum track with my drum pad. I attempted exporting it as MP3, WAV, and WMA. I then created a new song in the D-888 file (where all the other songs are).
1. I tested out the MP3 file, WMA file, and WAV file with no success. The korg is not recognizing this as a track and I am unable to record with it on the Korg. I thought this would be basic but I must be wrong.
What can I do to do what I am trying to do?>
Any help will be very appreciated.

The audiotracks you export to D888 must be 16bit/44khz/mono windows PCM wav-files and named like TRK01VT1.WAV, TRK02VT1.WAV etc. in order to get D888 to play them.
If you have mixed a stereofile, then split it into two monofiles and name them TRK01VT1.WAV and TRK02VT1.WAV, and they will be tracks 1 and 2 in your D888 song. |
