Hello,
I want to tune to a historical temperament. How do I know what key the tuner is in, and can I change it?
Presumably the key I am in determines the relationships between the pitches. For example, the interval between A and E will be different if one is in A major than if one is in E major or some other more remote key. (Unless I am using equal temperament.) How do I know if the reference pitch is A or some other note, and how do I change it?
Thanks. |
