I've just laid my hands on a NEX5 but it is a semi tone down. I have no manual and a limited knowlege. Could anyone please help, explain to me how to retune the synth?

Just a guess, but in global mode, there should be a transpose function... or a command to set global mode to the default settings. Whichever seems easier.
