|
|
Hi, I'm new to this so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have stereo out of my triton rack into my edirol interface into Logic 9. I make a new audio track and try to record a combi but it only records one of the sounds that make up the combi. I also have trouble with the levels, it's always real low even though I have the output turned all the way up on the rack. Can anyone please help? |

Are you sending midi to the Rack or are you playing realtime?
And for the volume issue how high is your input level/gain? _________________ Korg Triton Classic 61-keys, Native Instruments Kore 2 (SW&HW) |

I am playing in realtime with my midi controler and I have the volume of my edirol firewire interface turned way up as well as the input in logic and the output on the rack turned all the way up. the level of the input in logic never even goes halfway up to the red. It always stays a quarter of the way up. |

For the problem of playing only one program in combi, have you checked that all your midi channels are right?
And for the volume issue: how much volume does you combi mixer page have? also check all the compressor and limiter and OD/dist. type effects that have their own volume... _________________ Korg Triton Classic 61-keys, Native Instruments Kore 2 (SW&HW) |

what should my midi channels be on? and where do I set them? I thought they were going out of stereo 1+2 by default.
The combi mixer page shows that each program is cranked all the way up. Is there a separate combi master fader? |

midi and audio are differenti things... you can change the midi channels on edit-Trk Parameter - page of the menu... I have Triton Classic keyboard version so I'm not completely sure where to find it on the rack but it should be in same place... There is no master fader, but things that effect the volume in addition to those mixer faders are some effects so check them also... _________________ Korg Triton Classic 61-keys, Native Instruments Kore 2 (SW&HW) |
