I have the ER1 & EA1 bought them nearly 15 years ago, could never figure them out but now i understand how they work, i am staring to use them in my production's lately, i did update the the patches from James Bernard a couple of years ago, but if there is firmware update available i too would love to get my hands on it

Anyone know if you can update the firmware ??

Jay

I don't think you can. You can updat or transfer sounds but finding the firmware os will be hard if not impossible. They are pretty reliable. Anyway, you can upgrade the es-1. You can get the os from the mkII version and load it onto the mkI. Instead of a wah effect at the end of the fx section you get a mod delay. Similar to the global delay so you can route individual sounds to the fx bus. Thats about all it upgrades. I don't think you can do the same thing for the ea or the er. People have tried on the yahoo groups and failed. Best bet for this is to check out the electribe yahoo groups. I put the mkII version on one of them but i can't find it anymore.

There's an email address on you tube.
I think it's electribeshaman@Gmail.com
But check that. I have emailed him but he hasn't got back to me yet.

Sorry for that. Everything is here: http://electribe.cc.
'How' will be available as soon as beta testing gets done.

I made my own table with CC numbers etc (according to firmware 3.0.4 at least), the original is quite unreadable for me:
