during a lightning storm a big strike killed my power. my Korg TR workstation never came back on. i was wondering if my power cord (with the big wart in the middle) has a fuse like function or if my board could be fragged. any help Smile (cortedemico@hotmail.com)

I just got my TR back from American for repair. They replaced the fuse inside and now it works. Perhaps yours has the same issue. I haven't been able to take a look inside to see where the fuse is located. Hopefully it's under one of the removable plates.

If I had known it was a fuse I would've just picked one up at TruValue or something. Luckily it only cost me $50 to fix at American (TV) ($15 for the repair and $35 for a diagnostics fee).
