So,

I've updated my software to 2.0. Updated my driver as well.

I use Windows Vista.

I cannot get KP3 editor to transmit data to my KP3. To be clear, I've saved my wav files in the kpp, etc formats available on KP3 editor.

The error reads "KP3 not found"

It seems that the editor does not want to talk to the KP3

Is there anyway to fix this? I've already spent 7 hours on it and I'm ready to give up.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

What happens when you run the "Configure KORG USB-MIDI Driver" application? Do you see the Korg KP3 listed under device list?

It can also be helpful to run the "Uninstall KORG USB-MIDI Device" application, which lists all the midi drivers and lets you uninstall them. You'll need to press the Option... button to uncheck the "Delete KORG MIDI device only" to get rid of any old/non-working/unneeded midi driver ports. It is possible to run out of midi driver slots if the registry is full. You can use this to clean it up, then reinstall the KP3 driver using the "Install KORG USB-MIDI Device".

Once you have the KP3 properly listed in the device list, then all you should have to do is go to the MIDI preferences in the KP3 editor to ensure that it autodetects the proper midi ports.
